Sarangkot is a small village that lies in the outskirts of the Pokhara city. The village is located on Sarangkot mountain at an altitude of 1600m and is renowned for its panoramic Himalayan views Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu as well as down on the city of Pokhara and Phewa lake. In recent years, Sarangkot has become a hotspot for paragliding.

You will also get a chance to view one of the most beautiful Annapurna Himalayan ranges. Most people come here at dawn or dusk, when the sun picks out the peaks, transforming them from a purple-pink to a celestial gold. Early morning take a cab are available from Pokhara to reach to the Sarangkot top before sunrise. Spectacular view of the snow capped mountains on one side, and view of Pokhara city on the other is truly awesome.
