Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary is named after Mehao Lake and to reach this place one needs to trek almost for 4 to 7 hours. This sanctuary is a home for different kinds of wild animals and birds. Many species of trees, plants, orchards, butterflies, and Rhododendron are found in this Mehao wildlife sanctuary. The sanctuary falls under the Mishmi hills.
