Polo Park is a botanical garden with a wonderful collection of flowers and a mini zoon and Pola Park is in the Naharlagun region. Naharlagun is a small town surrounded by mountains and Naharlagun is a town that sees annual monsoon rain. Naharlagun has become a gateway to Arunachal Pradesh. Naharlagun has very few interesting places to visit. The right place to visit in Naharlagun for the flower lovers is Polo Park. Polo Park has varieties of flowers and Polo Park has a mini zoo where several animals can be seen including guinea pigs and rabbits. The Polo Park also has a handicraft center and many good collections of carpets, shawls, and products made of cane and bamboo are there. One can buy and take home as a souvenir from Arunachal Pradesh for friends and family. The park has evolved as a major tourist attraction as it features a wide collection of flowers and orchids. Thickets of cane are the highlights of the park the thickets look like a palm, with spines on its stems, but growing as a bush. Earlier the Polo Park was not much promoted by the tourism of Arunachal Pradesh and even the local people were not much aware of this Polo Park. Later it was one of the major tourist attractions and it was properly taken care of by the tourism and authorities of Arunachal Pradesh. The Polo Park is located on the height of Naharlagun and the view from the Park is beautiful. The Polo Park is very near from Nahalagun Town. The nearest railway station to reach Naharlagun is the Naharlagun railway station. From Naharlagun railway station one can take a taxi to visit other places in the town since the taxi is easily accessible. The traveler can take a train from Guwahati to reach Naharlagun. Naharlagun can be reached via road also from Guwahati or Tezpur.
