Chapramari wildlife sanctuary which is also known as Chapramari wildlife reserve, it is near by the Gorumara National Park. Chapramari is about 30 kilometers away from Chalsa and Lataguri which is in the northern West Bengal, India. This wildlife sanctuary is quite big. It covers the total forest area of about 960 hectares.
Chapramari wildlife sanctuary is quite famous for Royal Bengal tigers. One can witness this amazing tigers while doing the tour. Especially this region is also famous for its elephants that can be spotted easily from far as well. There are different kinds of animals in this wildlife sanctuary like boars, deer, leopard, and gore is commonly found in this sanctuary. If you love birds and enjoy watching them then, do remember to carry a pair of binoculars to catch a glimpse of colourful birds like parrot, kingfisher and green pigeon among many others.
