1) Kaziranga National Park:  Kaziranga National Park is one of the finest National Parks in India. It is set on either sides of river Brahmaputra with vast stretches of savannah grassland and some dots of mixed deciduous forests. Located in the Golaghat district of Assam, Kaziranga National Park is spread over an area of 858 sq. km and serves as a perfect abode to more than 70 % of one horned Rhinoceros in the world and several other species too. The Kabini River is the key river draining the park with the Nagarahole River imparting the name to the park.

4) Gir National Park: Sprawled over an area of 1412 sq. kms, the Gir National Park is located in the Junagadh district of Gujarat. In the year 1975, Gir was approved as a national park.
