(1) Why we ride- Mark Barnes
The author is a motorcycling clinical psychologist so you can expect plenty of helpful insights in this book. Divided into 3 parts, he shares common experiences of riders, sports psychology, and a thematic analysis of motorcyclists’ motivations.
(2) Jupiter’s travels- Ted Simon
This book covers the bike journey of Ted Simon, a British journalist in the ‘70s. Covering 63,000 miles on a 500cc Triumph T100-P, Ted passes through 54 countries in 4 years and encounters numerous failures, war, uprisings, and even prison life. An adventure that eventually turns into a journey of awakening, this is a must-read.
