(3) ASSAM STATE ZOO CUM BOTANICAL GARDEN

This is the largest zoo in northeast India, spread over 432 acres within the Hengrabari Reserved Forest. The zoo is home to about 895 animals, birds, and reptiles. The zoo has some exotic animals such as zebras, ostriches, giraffes, pumas, jaguars, llamas, white and black rhinos, and kangaroos. 

(4) NEHRU PARK

Located in the heart of the city, this ecological park has well-maintained lawns, countless species of trees, and flowers. You can find statues depicting folk dances throughout the park. The park also has a rock garden and an open-air theatre.

(5) RIVER CRUISE

Take the kids on a memorable river cruise on the Brahmaputra river. Choose a sunset cruise or dinner cruise, which also showcase folk dances.
