In the district headquarter of the East Kameng of Arunachal Pradesh in India there is a place called Seppa. Seppa is a town and this place is famous for its three valleys namely Pakke-Valley, Pappu Valley and Passa Valley. All three valleys namely Pakke-Valley, Pappu Valley and Passa Valley are worth it. The valleys look very wonderful from the top of the road and the rivers make the valleys Pakke-Valley, Pappu Valley and Passa Valley more beautiful. During the time of paddy the paddy field is grown on the banks of the rivers and the valleys look more beautiful and mesmerizing during that time. During summer all the valleys Pakke-Valley, Pappu Valley and Passa Valley become green with natural beauty and during winter season one can see the migratory birds in Passa Valley which are also known as Lumdung. The Lumdung or the Passa Valley is inhabited by the Nyish people. The entire three valleys come under different blocks as Lumdung-Pappu Valley comes under Seppa Block, Passa and Pakke Valley come under Pakke-Kessang Block headquarter, Pakke-Kessang, is situated in Pakke-Valley. From Seppa Pappu Valley is almost 21 kilometers, Passa Valley is 78 kilometers and Pakke Valley is approximately 140 kilometers. From Seppa one can hire a taxi to visit Pakke-Valley, Pappu Valley and Passa Valley and the valleys are easily accessible by road. The visitors can stay overnight in Inspection Bungalows and one needs to carry warm clothes since the place is cold. The valleys are also sites for the annual winter Paragliding festival where many people from different places and states are present during this festival. By different modes of transportation one can reach Seppa. The nearest airports to reach Seppa are Tezpur airport and Guwahati (Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport) in Assam. The distance from Tezpur airport is Seppa is approximately six and a half hours. Helicopter (Pawan Hans) is also available from Tezpur and Naharlagun. The nearest railway station is the Naharlagun railway station which is at a distance of almost 202 kilometers which is approximately five hours' drive. Visitors can reach Seppa by bus, private vehicle and taxies from both Itanagar and Tezpur, Assam. Motorable roads connect most of the places of East Kameng District. Seppa is connected to the capital, Itanagar and the adjacent state-Assam by road and air. From Itanagar there are two routes to reach Seppa: one through Bhalukpong(430km) and one through Sagali (around 210km). Though it is longer the first one it is better to travel than the latter one. The latter one is almost impossible to travel in the rainy season due to landslides.
