The beautiful Rajbari Lake garden is located in the premises of Ujjyanta Palace of Agartala the capital city of the northeastern state of Tripura in India. The distance from Agartala city to Rajbari lake garden which is in the premises of Ujjyanta Palace is only 1 kilometre away. The Palace along with the Rajbari Lake garden was constructed in between 1899 to 1901by Maharaja Radha Kishore Mabikya Debbarma. The Rajbari Lake garden stands on the banks of two lakes surrounded by gardens inspired by the Mughal style. It is also known as a twin lake inside the Ujjyanta Palace and the food stalls and the canteens around the Rajbari lake garden is a perfect place to spend especially during an evening with the loved once. The garden is surrounded by varieties of flowers and it is well maintained and very clean. The Rajbari Lake garden starts from the entrance gate of Ujjyanta Palace to the main entrance door of Ujjyanta Palace. The entrance fee per person is INR 20.00 and it is really a worth to visit the beautiful place of Agartala in Tripura. The visiting hour is from morning 11 AM to 6:30 PM in the evening, except Monday the place is open throughout the week. The restful lazy walk in a well-maintained garden adds to the quality family time, the kids will really enjoy to visit the beautiful and less crowded place. There is a fountain in between and when it is functional the place looks more beautiful and mesmerizing especially during the evening. Agartala is easily accessible by road, air or by train and the nearest airport to reach Agartala is Maharaja Bir Bikram airport of Agartala which is almost 9 kilometres away from the main city and the nearest railway station is Agartala railway station which is almost 7 kilometres away. From both the place one can hire a cab or take any mode of public transportation to reach the destination.
