The Barmura Eco Park is located in the Teliamura in Khowai District of Tripura. It is almost 38 kilometres away from Khowai in Baramura Hill Range. The road is well connected to Shillong and Guwahati from Agartala the capital city of the northeastern state of Tripura in India. The Barmura Eco Park is surrounded by green forest along with a stream flowing through it. The Barmura Park is also a home for bamboo, herbs & shrubs and a variety of plants and trees which are the attractions of the park. Many types of flowers and fruits are also found in this park and one can spend almost about 2 hours or a whole day to see around the park. The entry fee for per person is only INR 10.00. There are some sitting arrangements inside the Barmura Eco Park where people can sit and spend reading books and listening to the music away from the city. The forest of Baramura Eco Park also supports livelihood needs of nearly 2500 tribal families spread across the hills and are the source of all important Howrah River and many a tributary of Khowai River. It is a beautiful eco-park and many people enjoy visiting the place and it is also one of the best place to explore with kids, family and friends. The conversation of the natural ecosystem of Baramura hills is, therefore, vital to the substance in the hills as well as plains. The nearest railway station is Maharaja Bir Bikram airport of Agartala which is almost 46 kilometres away and the nearest railway station is Teliamura railway station which is at a distance of almost 11 kilometres and another railway station is Jirania railway station which is at a distance of about 20 kilometres. The Barmura Eco Park is also easily accessible by road by any mode of public transportation.
