The Tingling View Point or Kawley Dara is the must-stop place on the way since it gives you the panoramic vision of tea garden, Mirik Lake and the Mirik Valley. The viewpoint is surrounded by three tea gardens and the pleasant atmosphere is quite satisfying. The sunrise and the sunset from here are a visual delight, one can take some beautiful pictures of the plains as well as the snow-capped mountains. The Tingling View Point is at a distance of almost 9 kilometres from Mirik and it is accessible by any mode of transportation. Beautiful twists and turns for motorcycle enthusiast is the perfect place to visit, the road is in very good condition and the road is between tea gardens.

During the clear weather and the pleasant atmosphere the village Sourenee can be seen from Tingling viewpoint and the view from here is very satisfying. The tea gardens themselves are very beautiful and quite attractive to the tourists as well as for the locals. It is also a very good place for photography. There is a stall at the base of the viewing gallery where one can buy fresh packaged tea from Sourenee tea estate. There is also an eatery where you can take light snacks and some tea. Sourenee is also known for its juicy oranges.
