Apart from the lush green tea garden and the beautiful view one can also visit the quaint hamlet of Khasmahal which is famous for orange especially during the season of harvesting. The Samsing village is almost 18 kilometres away from the peaceful and developing Neora Valley National Park. The Neora Valley National Park covers an area of almost 88 km2 and in early days the villagers used to work as tea plantation labourers and the workers were especially from Sikkim, Rangeli and from Indo-Nepal Mountain region. In the forest of Neora Valley, even the sunlight finds it difficult to touch the ground because of the growth of the number of plants and trees. The Neora Valley National Park is one of the best places for the nature lovers and trekkers who can explore the still-unknown terrain in the hills of Kalimpong. There are still more places inside the Neora Valley National Park which are still inaccessible.
