Reshi is a village located on the bank of river Reshi and is popular tourist spot. Located within a distance of 15 km from Pedong, this is an ultimate destination for bird watching and fishing in the region. It is one of the earliest tourist spots with the river forming the border between Sikkim & Bengal. It is an ideal place for angling and river side camping. It is locally called Rishi Khola.

Rishi Khola is situated at the border of West Bengal and Sikkim. Khola in the local language means stream hence the place derives its name from the stream itself. Situated at an altitude of 2,000 ft and 40 kms away from the sparkling town Kalimpong, Reshi has lured the heart of many nature lovers through its quiet environment and awe - inspiring illustrative sights. This calm and serence place is an ideal destination to stay away from the city's fast life and crowd. Here visitors can enjoy nature at its unspoiled form.

Reshi is a perfect stopover for tourists visiting the legendary silk route which use to be the trade route between India and Tibet, surrounded by lush green forest and superior mountains. Travelers can take a refreshing bath in the crystal clear river water of Reshi while relishing in the beauty of their surroundings. Camping along the river bank has hyped the interest of many adventurers.

There are many activities in Rishikhola which the visitors can take par. Like short forest trek, rock climbing, angling and many more while visiting Rishikhola. Himalayan bird species like the Crimson Sunbird, the famous Himalayan Bulbul, the beautiful Racket tailed Drongo, Fire Tailed Sunbird, the magnificent Red Billed Leothrix, Red tailed Minla makes Rishikhola a birding paradise for all the ardent bird watchers. February to April is considered the best time to spot maximum numbers of migratory birds in Rishikhola.
