All-Terrain Vehicles are available at the exit gate of Himalayan Zoological Park. A round trip ride for 30 minutes is available. It’s advised to book in advance as the numbers of vehicles are limited. During an ATV ride get amazing views of forests and the Himalayas and the snow-covered mountains, experience and explore the jungles and the muddy roads under the supervision of an experienced and a professional guide. This activity is allowed for an adult-only and the riders should be conscious of the speed as the higher speeds may increase the likelihood of mishappenings. One can visit the place and do the activity from 10 AM in the morning to 4 PM in the evening. The best time to do this activity is throughout the year but it is advisable to avoid during the month of July to mid-September due to monsoon season.

The nearest airport is Bagdogra airport and the nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri railway station and both the airport and the railway stations are in Siliguri. From both, the place one needs to take any mode of transportation to reach Gangtok and the distance from Siliguri to Gangtok is approximately 4 to 5 hours but depending upon the road condition and the traffic the time travel may increase. To reach the destination from Gangtok one can avail the taxi from the main town Gangtok.
