Tsomgo Passenger Ropeway is located at the Tsomgo Lake at the altitude of 13,000 feet. The cable car ride takes 10 mins takes to reach the view point on the upper reaches of Tsomgo lake. From this view point one can see the entire lake and the surrounding hills. Tsomgo Lake lies 40 kms East of Gangtok an en-route Nathu La & Harbhajan Baba Mandir.

It has been designed, installed and operated by Conveyor & Ropeway Services Pvt. Ltd. in association with Department of Tourism & Civil Aviation Department, Government of Sikkim. Its scenic beauty grasps the minds of tourist by taking one round on the ropeway cable car. It is operational daily and timings are from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Tickets are available at Tsomgo Lake only.

Per head cost is INR 250/- for this ride. Khangchendzonga Range can be seen from the top on clear sky. This ropeway ride can be a lifetime experience for anyone.
