Marketing your writing is also very important. For a beginner, you can start off with a web log site. Build your portfolio online. Write something new everyday. In fact, write ten articles everyday. Base them on different topics. Put all your work up on the blog, with a contact email address. Then place your articles on different article directories, placing a link on each to your site. Sit back. Watch the orders come in.
