You can ask them about area hotels and possibly learn a lot more than you ever would from a book or a website.

One thing you should keep in mind when choosing from vacation spots is your budget. If money is no object, then you can disregard this, of course. But if you're like most people, you don't have the option of dropping as much money as you want on a getaway. Look for discounts, coupons, and packages that can keep things reasonable.
