Rongbang Dare Waterfall can be visited throughout the year. However monsoons are considered to be best to visit here as nearby forest area becomes greener and fast flowing milky water becomes white like cotton bed. Nohkalikai Falls is located 8 kms from Cherrapunjee (the wettest place in the world) in the state of Meghalaya. As it is considered to be the tallest plunge waterfall of India, Meghalaya Tourism Government tries to maintain the site in the best possible way to attract more tourists. It has height of 1115 feet (340 metres) and is the most popular tourist attraction of Cherrapunjee.
One of the major tourist’s attractions of Meghalaya, Seven Sister Waterfalls is located 4 kms from Cherrapunjee town and 1 km south of Mawsmai Village. This fall is also called Mawsmai Falls or Nohsngithiang Falls. It is in East Khasi Hills district. It is said to be one of the tallest waterfall in India. It has a height of 315 metres (1,033 ft) and has an average width of 70 metres (230 ft) and is a seven segmented falls.
Siko Dido falls is on the way to Mechuka near the village Lipo on the road to Basar. Though from Basar to Mechuka there are numerous small waterfalls one has to stop to look the enchanting Siko Dido waterfalls which are falling from almost 200 feet tall has a plunge pool at its base. The small plunge pool at the bottom of the fall which makes and thick foliage around the falls.
Sirki waterfall is located 17 minutes drive which is approximately 10 kilometers from Pasighat. Sarki Waterfalls is famous for the amazing waterfalls. Most of the visitors enjoy the adventurous trek and witness the marvel of nature. The Sarki waterfalls are one of the most visit places of Pasighat.
