Are you considering exploring the North Easternmost state of India? Instead of going the DIY route, book your Arunachal Pradesh tourism package with an excellent travel company. This is a more convenient way to explore one of the country’s least-visited regions. By booking a package trip, you can ensure your safety as well.

Even though you are booking an Arunachal Pradesh tourism package that includes everything—homestay accommodation, transfers, and meals—you still have some preparations to do and things to pack. If you want a successful and memorable trip to India’s Land of the Dawn-lit Mountains, take the following things with you:

Portable battery and flashlights

Arunachal Pradesh is a remote area that is still a bit untouched. Electricity is not that reliable. Power outages are normal and can occur at any time of the day. That’s why tourists are advised to pack portable batteries for charging electronic devices and flashlights or headlamps.

Hiking shoes

Whether or not you booked an adventure-themed Arunachal Pradesh tourism package, you need to be ready with your trekking shoes. Most activities—including visiting national parks and tribal areas—involve a lot of walking and hiking. If you want to stay comfortable throughout the tour, wear your hiking shoes. Of course, you have to take them off when visiting a temple or any holy place.

Warm socks

The nights can get chilly even in the summer months. To stay cozy in your sleep, wear warm socks.

First aid kit

Always carry repellents to prevent getting bitten by mosquitoes or getting sick due to mosquito bites. You should also always bring your first aid kit so that you can immediately attend to medical emergencies.

Camera

Don’t forget to pack your camera to document your trip properly. Since you will be snapping a lot of photos, you may also want to bring extra memory cards for storage. Aside from the jaw-dropping views of nature, you will surely love to capture cultural experiences, food trips, traverses in unexplored spots, and encounters with the locals. If you are going to try thrilling adventures like cycling and rafting, you should bring an action camera.
