Resithang Paragliding is at a distance of approximately 2 kilometres from the main city Gangtok, capital of Sikkim, one of the northeastern states of Sikkim in India. Resithang just across the river from Bajakhri falls is the point from where one can book Paragliding activities the take-off point is about 2 kilometres away on the hilltop while the landing ground is the Resithang Sports ground.

A tandem flight is of approx 25 minutes to 30 minutes. Past many years the Government of Sikkim has initiated the Paragliding sports and the pilots are sent to various paragliding schools of India to get training. After they come to Sikkim most of them have started working and doing the paragliding sports in Sikkim through a registered organization from the Government of Sikkim. There are some of the areas where you can fly and have Ariel view of Gangtok and adjoining villages in East Sikkim and also in Chakung in West Sikkim. Many visitors both the locals and the tourists visit this destination for Paragliding and they really enjoy a lot. One needs to drive to Bulbuley from Gangtok which is at a distance of 8 kilometres and fly to Resithang Khel Goan from Bulbuley, the time taken for the fly is 15 to 30 minutes and one can see the beautiful views of Mount Kanchendzonga and the entire Gangtok town.

The nearest airport is Bagdogra airport and the nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri railway station and both the airport and the railway stations are in Siliguri. From both, the place one needs to take any mode of transportation to reach Gangtok and the distance from Siliguri to Gangtok is approximately 4 to 5 hours but depending upon the road condition and the traffic the time travel may increase. The best time to do paragliding is from April to June when the weather remains clear, sunny and pleasant.
