Delo being the highest point of Kalimpong Town offer an opportunity for Para Gliding. There are two types of tandem flights available - the Medium flight which last for approx 20 minutes and the High flight which would last for approx 30 minutes. Both the flights take off from the same point at Delo while the landing grounds are different. For Medium flight the landing point is at Homes Garden near the school Dr. Graham's Home, while for High flight the landing point is at Relli River ground further down.

Minimum weight of flying person should be 30 kgs and maximum can be till 120 kms. Paragliding starts from 09:00 AM till 04:30 PM depending upon weather conditions. One have to wear shoes while doing the activity, slippers, sandals or floaters are not allowed.

Paragliding at Delo costs INR 1000 for Indians and INR 2000 for foreigners. The best time for the activity is from October to March, when skies remain clear and one can have a good view of mighty Himalayas.
