Flying or driving is extremely common for people to choose, but they might take the train simply because you can enjoy the ride and relax. But flying is by far the most popular way to travel and if everything goes smoothly, it is also the most convenient way to travel. You just have to plan everything out ahead of time and follow all the rules. Get to the airport early and don't over pack. Also, make sure to bring plenty to keep yourself busy while you are sitting around in the terminal and on the tarmac.

If you are bringing children, you should also pack whatever keeps them busy. They can become so bored and then they will start to whine, complain or argue, and that can make any traveling experience not pleasurable. Children of younger ages may be easier to keep occupied, but you still should bring something additional for them to do. You can bring things like a game or movie to keep their minds off the traveling time.

One of the most common things on the market today is small electronic items that play video games, movies and music. In fact, your cell phone probably already has this kind of extra on it, where it will also play games, movies or music all in one device. Check and be sure the phone has a full charge that way you know it will work. It is a good idea to bring other games in the event your electronics become impracticable. Standard games can still be found, such as cards, to keep children entertained for quite some time. Paper and crayons for drawing are another good replacement for the iPod or DVD player.
