Located at Khadalay Pudung in Kalimpong, Pudung Farm Adventure Rides is a fun park that offers adventurous activities and refreshments for all age groups. 

Pudung Farm Adventure Rides is a part of the Pudung Farm, which also has farm animals, a hotel, and a rooftop restaurant that serves good delicious food, including its famous fried chicken called PFC or the Pudung fried chicken. 

Mingma Tshering Bhutia of Kalimpong is the park head who takes care of the place and loves his job. Pudung Farm Adventure Rides was started in December 2019 with the idea of providing entertainment and learning to the local people. “The idea to establish the farm hit our minds in the month of October just as an ATV park, which later on evolved to more rides and activities,” says Mingma.  

ATVs at Pudung Farm Adventure Rides

There are many rides available at the farm, and several new rides are under construction. “It is totally a family place but certain rides have age restrictions,” says Mingma. Pudung Farm Adventure Rides is about 12 km from Kalimpong main road and is next to an arterial village road that reaches right to the park gate. To get to the park, you can take a vehicle either from the Kalimpong town taxi stand or the Pudung Fatak taxi stand, both of which are easily available.

At the most, a maximum of 20 people can be accommodated on the farm rides; however, Mingma Tshering Bhutia and his team are working on increasing the number of rides.

Rides and Activities at the Farm

For now, the Pudung Farm Adventure Rides provides outdoor activities like ATV or quad bike rides (the duration of the ATV rides is totally dependent on how many laps or rounds the passenger wants to take), paintball games, camping, bungee trampoline, and trampoline. However, the park head and his team are working on the installation of several other activities like water zorbing, water roller, mini boating, artificial rock climbing, land zorbing, cycling park, and ziplining.

“We believe that all these activities and games would be installed by the end of this year,” adds Mingma. Right now they have a total of 8 ATVs on the farm, and the number might soon go up according to Mingma.

Customer safety is taken seriously, and all the necessary safety equipment like helmets is provided at the park. 

Apart from visiting the adventure park, you can also visit a few places of attraction nearby. Kaffer, Lolay Gaon, and Delo are some of the popular places of attraction in Kalimpong. Delo is also a popular picnic spot where you can indulge in paragliding.
