Cane & Bamboo crafts centre was established in the year 2008 in Lingdong village of Dzongu, North Sikkim. Though Dzongu is not a shopping destination, the cane and bamboo centre here offers some interesting collectible items. Around 500 artisans are benefitted from this industry in the region.

It was sponsored by Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of textiles, Government of India under the implementation of Sikkim Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited. You will find bags, carpets, hats, mats, and other craft items at this centre. You can also shop for wooden masks and tables made according to local designs.
