Almost 12 hours on the bike, the longest in a day, but most importantly, the highest I have ridden on a two-wheeler- 17,800 feet above sea level! Scary in parts, dealing with the body responding to low oxygen at high altitude, and at the same time, extremely thrilling. The magical and real proximity to the supreme God is felt multiple times but is indeed overpowering at Gurudongmar Lake.”
