Itineraries

DAY 1 - Arrival to Darjeeling

• Arrival to Darjeeling via Kurseong
• Pick up in 2 buses (24 seater), transfer to Darjeeling
• Travel time 6 hrs + stoppage in between.
• Check in (Students on Quad, Teachers & Escorts on twin)
• Intro to The tour by TG Team
• Dinner at hotel
• Overnight at hotel

DAY 2 - Darjeeling Sightseeing

• Breakfast
• Visit: Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tea Garden & Lunch, Japanese Peace Pagoda, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia loop,
• Evening – Free stroll in Chowrasta on your own
• Lunch
• Overnight at hotel

Day 03: Chatakpur Hiking

• Breakfast
• Departure for Sonada via Ghoom.
• Start hike for Chatakpur Lunch at Chatakpur.
• Drive back to Darjeeling
• Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Mirik and Siliguri

• Breakfast
• Drive to Mirik Lake Boating & horse riding optional (on direct payment basis). Mirik Lake is the central attraction of Mirik and this is where you are likely to spend most of your time. This 1.25km natural lake is known as Sumendu Lake. Rain and spring water keep feeding the lake and it remains full all through the year. The depth of water varies from 3ft to 25ft. The western bank of the lake is surrounded by forest with tall dhupi trees having walking trails passing through it and the eastern bank of the lake has a nice garden where tourists and locals relax and enjoy the natural settings.
• Drive on to Dudhia village lunch at Dudhia
• Depart for Siliguri
• Arrival at Siliguri Hotel Evening free
• Overnight at hotel

Day 05: Departure

• After breakfast, drop to Airport/ NJP.
