Mangisi Wari is located in West Garo Hills District of Meghalaya state. It lies in Selsella block which is 45 kms from Tura. The BDO along with the villagers wish to develop it into a fish sanctuary and a recreational park as the potential for this place to attract both local visitors and outsiders is high.

It has serene and picturesque view of the paddy fields surrounding it. It is also conveniently located just about 300 meters from the main road. One wan book taxi from Tura and reach here in an hour drive. Local buses or taxi going from Tura to Phulbari via Selsella can also be options to reach Mangisi Wari.

Winters are the best time to visit Mangisi Wari and variety of fishes can be seen here on a good day.
