The Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyan which was established in the year of 2017 to commemorate the victory of the brave soldiers of Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and the courage of the brave Indian army in Chottakhal of South Tripura is must visit place. The Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyan is at a distance of three hours’ drive which is almost 105 kilometres away from Agartala the capital city of Tripura one of the northeastern states of India. In the Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyan, the statue of the Liberation War was established. This is a place where we can see the Indo-Bangla friendship, earlier in the year of 1971 when Bangladesh got the freedom from a country Pakistan. During that time India gave full support and one of the states of India was Tripura the northeastern state who provided the shelter for thousands of refugees and Bangladesh freedom fighters. The park expressed the story of Bangladesh how they faced the tortures and struggles during the war and how the Indians supported. We can see many statues of the soldiers and the villagers inside the Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyan. It is a beautiful to visit the entry fee for per person is only INR 10.00 and the Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyan is open throughout the week except it is closed on Tuesday. The Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyanis surrounded by lush green forest and trees. There is a garden inside the Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyan which is nicely decorated with varieties of flowers and plants; the small bridge constructed inside the Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyan is also one of the tourist’s attractions. The visitors can take a picture from the bridge and one can view a beautiful view of the Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyan from the bridge. The different wall scripts and the pictures describe the stories of freedom fights.
