      2. Directorate of Handlooms and Handicrafts (DHH)

      3. Do -Drul Chorten

Built by Venerable Trulshi Rinpoche in 1945 the Do -Drul Chorten has complete mandala set of Dorjee Phurba, a set of Kinga Gyur relic (Holy Book), complete "Zung '(mantras) and other religious objects encircled by 108 Mani Lhakars (Prayer wheels) .It is sorrunded by Chorten Lakhang and Guru Lakhang.

     4.Namgyal Institute of Tibetlogy

This renowned centre for study of Buddhist philosophy and religion is a treasure house of vast collection of rare lepcha, Tibetan and Sanskrit manuscripts, statues, rare "Thankas' over 200 important Buddhist people and other valued object of art.

     5. Gangtok Ropeway

One can enjoy the panoramic view of and thrilling rise as the cable care goes over the hills and meadows. It takes the pas- senger 7 minutes to travel 1 km ride.

      6. Tashi View Point

Located 8 kms from Gangtok along the North Sikkim high-way. This point offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu. There is a Observatory Tower and a Cafeteria. Ideal time to visit is early morning on a sunny day.

     7. Saramsa Garden

About 14 kms from Gangtok, the Saramsa Flower Pavilion and Exhibition Center has been developed for holding National and International seminars & exhibitions. There is a beautifully landscaped flower garden for the visitors to take a leisurely walk and enjoy the nature.

     8. Khangchendzonga Tourist Com. plex, Ranka

A multi-facility tourism complex located a Ranka at 12 kms from Gangtok is a destination for tourist to get away from hustle & bustle of the town area. The facilities include sports, cultural huts, amusement park, cafeteria and many other attractions.

      9. Himalayan Zoological Park

It is 8 kms away from Gangtok town is the Himalayan an Zoological Park which covers an area of ​​205 hectares, Ihis areais so2400 known as Bulbulay. One can spot Red Panda, Snow Leopard, spotted Deer, and Bears etc. In a semi-natural habitat and many more animals found in high altitudes.
