2. Tashi Delek
Located in old MG Marg, this outdoor restaurant is beautifully done up with red coloured traditional paper lanterns adorning the leafy canopy, animal figurines staring statuesquely from the walls and pillars, and an eye-catching bar tucked at the end. The ambience is relaxed and the place offers a wonderful view of Mt. Khanchendzonga.
3. Amba Residency
This place can’t be missed mainly because of the huge sign announcing it as a pure veg roof top restaurant. Situated on top of the Amba Regency Hotel, it is spread over 2 levels. While the topmost area is completely open with garden umbrellas accompanying each table, the lower area hosts the bar and is windowless, providing clear views of the surrounding hills and snow-covered mountains. It prides itself in Punjabi cuisine.
4. Scrummy
Scrummy is the in-house rooftop restaurant of Hotel Cosmos. The restaurant’s ambience is modern and includes a bar and hookah area. Huge windows bring in light and astonishing views of the hills, making your dining experience worth elongating.
5. Anola
This is a no-frills rooftop restaurant. The area is divided into 2 sections. A small section is left uncovered but is situated on the main roadside. The other section at the back provides views of the hills but is an enclosed area. However, the peripheral windows let in bright sunshine.
