The gleaming white Ujayanta Palace located in the capital city of Agartala evokes the age of Tripura Maharajas. Neermahal is an important Tourist spot in Tripura. It is located picturesquely in the midst of the scenic Rudrasagar Lake. Built in 1930 as the summer residence of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya, the palace was inspired by Mughal and Hindu architectural styles. The spectacular edifice still reflects the wave of its past glory and casts its spel on the mind of the visiting tourists. It is the only water palace in North East India. The lake covers an area of about 5.3 sq. k.m. and is home to a variety of migratory birds and aquatic plants. The tracts of green fields edging the Rudrasagar lake come alive during the annual arrival of the migratory birds.

Unakoti means one less than a crore. Unakoti is an important site of archeological wonder. It is a shiva pigrimage attraction and dates back to 7th- 9th centuries AD. The site consists of several huge vertical rock-cut carvings on a hill side. The Unakoti rock-cut carving has the distinction of being the largest bas-relief sculpture in India.

Pilak is a place of attraction for its archelogical ramains of 8th - 9th centuries. The place is a treasure house of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures. Some huge stone images of Avlokiteswar of 9th century A.D. and Narasimha image of 12th century A.D. Are found here two bronze statues of Buddhas were discovered in Hrishyamukh near Pilak the treasure-trove of archaeological riches has close association with Moynamoti and Paharpur in Bangladesh.

Chabimura is famous for its panels of rock carvings on the steep mountain wall on the bank of Gomati. There are huge image rock curved of Shiva, Vishnu, Kartika, Mahisasur-mardini Durga and other Gods and Goddesses. These images date back to 15h 16th centuries A.D.
