1. Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary
Sepahijala wildlife sanctuary (Clouded Leopard National Park)
Location: Bishalgarh Sub-Division
Distance: 28 km from Agartala
It is an ideal place for bio-diversity conservation cover with an area of 18.53 sq. km. It’s a safe haven for wildlife particularly valuable for wide green forest and rare species of plants. There is recorded as many as 456 plants species. Besides this tropical moist forest and seven different kinds of primates including the Rhesus Pigtailed Macaque, Capped Langur, Spectacled Langur popul known as "Chasma Banar" slow lories and so on. Apart from Clouded Leopard, civets and boars are the main attraction of this sanctuary. This Sanctuary plays host to as many as 100 species of birds and destination of migratory birds.

2. Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary
Location: Jaychandpur, Belonia Sub-Division
Distance: 95 KM from Agartala and 15 km from Belonia
Among the four major sanctuaries in this State, Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the attractive destinations for nature lovers. The great attraction of this sanctuary is a sizeable population of Indian Bison, commonly known as "GABA". Another facet of Trishna is that, it is also the habitat of and home to highly endanger only ape species of Indian sub-continent i.e. The Hoolock, Gibbon and primates like Capped langur. Total forest is 194.70 sq. Km covering with valuable trees like Garjan, Segun, Kanak etc. Lakes, herbs, deep forest wild life and human habitation have made it a natural paradise. It is also home to the migratory birds.
