SCINTILLATING NORTH SIKKIM

This package takes you to the land of Sikkim, a small Himalayan state that has snow clad majestic mountains to its north, famous snow covered lake and Indo-China border to its east and is dotted with terraced rice fields throughout the state. No wonder it is lovingly referred to as Bayul Demazong or the 'hidden valley of rice' by the Bhutias. Of all the four districts, the North is most well known for its high altitude Gurudongmar Lake and lots of snow. The best time to visit Sikkim is in the early winters or spring. In April, the Yumthang valley is colored red with rhododendron flowers and is a visual treat. This trip is perfect for anyone
