We will pick you up from Dimapur airport/railway station and drive you to Kigwema Village in Kohima.
If time permits, you will make a quick visit to the World War II cemetery in Kohima.
You will be staying the night at a homestay in Kigwema village.
Camping In Dzukou Valley
After breakfast, you will drive to Viswema, the starting point of the trek to Dzukou valley.
A steep 4 km climb through mixed scrub and bamboo forests will take you to the end point of the trek. Though it’s a 4-5 hour climb, you will walk on a well-established stone path.
You will stay overnight at a wonderful campsite.
Explore Dzukou Valley
Dzukou Valley is situated at a high altitude, giving unparallel views of the mountains. It is well known for its seasonal flowers and flora and fauna and the rare Dzükou Lily is found only here.
You will spend a relaxing day exploring this beautiful valley, soaking in the pristine natural beauty of this place.
You will head back to the campsite for the night.
Dzukou Valley – Kigwema'
You will leave your campsite today and take a scenic walk to Jakhama Village. The path is short but steep. From here you will be taken back to your homestay.
You will stay at a homestay in Kigwema.
We will drive you to Dimapur airport soon after breakfast.
