Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary

This wildlife sanctuary covers an area of about 163.08 square kilometers (62.97 sq mi). It is about 35 kilometers away from the town of Pilak and is connected with Agartala, the capital city of Tripura, by the state highway. The sanctuary has an area of 194.708 square kilometers. This sanctuary has a number of perennial water rivulets, water bodies, as well as grass land. This sanctuary also has patches of virgin forests which are rich in rare vegetation. Apart from the Indian Gaur (Bison) which is a major attraction, there are also varieties of birds, deers, hollock gibbon, golden langur, capped langur, Pheasant and many other animals and reptiles. Visiting Time: 9:00 AM to 5.00PM closed on Tuesday.

Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary & Butterfly Park

The Butterfly Eco Park is close to the village of Rajnagar and a short walk from Eden of Bison. There are currently many species of butterflies in the park. One of the entry gates of Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary. The park is recreational as well as a sanctuary for number of butterflies.

Bharat Bangla Maitree Uddyan, Chottakhol

India Bangla Moitree Udyan was established in 2017 to commemorate the victory of the brave soldiers of Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and the courage of the brave Indian army led by the then Indian Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi. Here, the statue of the Liberation War was established. Visiting Time : 9:00 AM to 5:00PM Closed on Tuesday.
