Banjhakri Falls

Banjhakri Falls and Energy Park is a recreation centre and tourist attraction near Gangtok. The park's statuary and other displays document the Ban Jhakri, or traditional shamanic healer who worships spirits living in caves around the falls. Ban means "forest", and jhakri means "healer". You can also do boating at Banjhakri falls nowadays.

Resithang Para Gliding

Resithang just across the river from Bajakhri falls is the point from where one can book para gliding activities the take off point is about 2 kms away on the hill top while the landing ground is the Resithang Sports ground. A tandem flight is of approx 25 mis to 30 mins.

Adventure Sports

There are a number of adventure activities available like zipling, Brahma Bridge, rappelling ect. The activities are available near the park area as well as at Reshithang

Lingdum Monastery

Lingdum Monastery is a Buddhist pilgrimage center following the Zurmang Kagyu sect of the ancient school of Tibetan Buddhism. It is under the spiritual direction of H. E. Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche, who is the 12th successive successor of the Kagyu sect. The monastery symbolizes  the Tibetan Buddhist architecture and an eye-catching portion is its apex carved with parasols, finials and pagoda roofs over a vast courtyard.
