Aalo

Aalo is a picturesque town at the confluence of Sipu and Siyom River. Surrounded by hills and beautiful orange orchards, this is another exotic nature getaway in Arunachal Pradesh. This is the headquarter of West Siang District and offers all basic amenities. For sightseeing or nature walks, there are places like Ramakrishna Mission Campus, Patum Bridge, Bagra Village, Donyi Polo Temple etc. The Kamki Hydrpower Dam is 25 km from Aalo and a beautiful place to visit. Siyom hanging bridge is a 70 m long bamboo and cane bridge. If you are zealous enough, go for rafting under this bridge.

Donyi Polo Gangi

One of the biggest Donyi Polo temple in Arunachal is in the town of Aalo, as the majority of the population of Aalo flows the Donyi Poloism (prayers to the Sun & Moon) The temple has a large prayer hall and priest in attendance. It is advised not to go on a Sunday as the locals usually come to the temple on Sundays.  

Tutem Recreational Park

This is place to relax during the evenings along the Siyom river bank. The park is 2 kms away from the town center.

Patum Bridge

The Patum Bridge is located on the Yomgo River. It is a cable bridge for vehicle transportation and a way for people to easily commute. It is also an important tourist attraction in Aalo as one can have a magnificent view of the entire city from the bridge.

Kabu Village & Bridge

Kabu Village, with population of 580 is Aalo's 8th most populous village, located on the banks of River Syiom it is 4 kms away from the town’s center. The village id inhabited by mostly Galo Tribal, do not miss out the traditional Cane & bamboo hanging bridge at the village.

Mithun Cross Breeding Center

Mithun and Jersey Cross Breeding Farm is one-of-its-kind farm is located in the West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh at Kamaki village. This farm is said to be an important milestone in the milk production in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.
