The trail head for famous Singalila Ridge Trek is just two hours from the city. The scenic Singalila Ridge connects the grand Himalaya of Nepal to India. The highlight of the trek is walking this ridge to Sandakphu (3636 meters/11,929 feet), the highest point in West Bengal.

Arrival Darjeeling 

  • Arrive Bagdogra & Transfer to Darjeeling, lying on top of a ridge, Darjeeling faces the Himalayan range of Singalila with Mt Khangchendzongna.
  • Overnight stay in Drajeeling. 
Darjeeling - Maneybhanjyang - Tumling

  • Trek to  Tumling which is 2940M, It will take 2 /5 hour /11KM.
  • A two-hour jeep ride takes the quiant village of Maneybhanjyang, just outside Singalila National Park. 
  • Visit the office and take care of visa/passport formalities, before trekking through the forested trail. 
  • Start the uphill trek to Tumling , the path leads through oak and rhododendron trees. From Tumling the views are stunning of views the Khangchendzongna range in the distance, and the city of Darjeeling
  • Overnight Tumling.
Tumling -  Sandakphu(3636M) via Kalapokhri, 7 hours /21km.

  • Early morning hike up to Tumling Top for sunrise view of the Singalila range of specially Mount Khangchendzongna. 
  • Hike down to Tumling for breakfast and then head to Sandakphu after passing Gairibas and Kalapokhri. The route leads uphill through bamboo and mixed forests, and fields of crops, to Kalapokhri. 
  • After lunch at Kalapokkhri trek on an even trail to Bikhebhanjyang (or ‘Valley of Poison’). From here, it’s a steep climb over 4 kilometers to Sandakphu. From here Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and other majestic peaksare visible.
  • Overnight Lodge.
Sandakphu - Phalut (3600M), 7 hours/21 km

  • Early morning walk up to the vantage points for morning sunrise view on the peaks.
  • Head back down for breakfast and resume trekking towards Phalut. After about 4 hoursof walking reach Phalut trekker’s hut, 
  • Overnight at Phalut trekker’s Hut.
 Phalut -  Gorkhey(2143M) 5 hours/14 km

  • Morning view of the sunrise on the mountain 
  • Start on downhill trek through lush rhododendron and magnolia forests, which are full of birds. 
  • Reach Gorkhey 
  • Overnight stay in a rural homestay.
Gokhey - Timburey (1800M), 6 hours /13 km

  • Post  breakfast, begin hike through a village called Samandin and after about 5 hours, we reach Ramam. Here, the trail reaches a junction of two streams called Gorkhey Khola. 
  • Keep walking for about an hour to Timburey.
  • Over dinner interact with local community members and get insights about their culture and lifestyle.
  • Overnight in a rural homestay.
Timburey - Rimbeek - Darjeeling

  • The last day of the trek, post breakfast start the hike towards Rimbeek. It is a relatively flat trail for about 10 kilometers passing through Srikhola village. 
  • On reaching Rimbeek, post lunch driver to to Darjeeling
  • Eevening, rest, refresh, and wander around if you would like. 
  • Overnight in Darjeeling.
Tiger Hill - Darjeeling

  • Go for the early morning 3-point tour which covers famous sunrise from Tiger Hill, Old Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
  • Post Breakfast 7-point local tour which includes Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park, Ropeway, Tibetan Self Help Refugee Center, Lebong Race Course, Happy Valley Tea Estate etc. 
  • Overnight at Darjeeling.

Departure to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) 

  • Airport pickup and drop service with private vehicle.
  • Three nights’ hotel in Darjeeling with breakfast before and after trek. 
  • Guided sightseeing tour in Darjeeling as per itinerary.
  • Monument entry fees during sightseeing tour.
  • Meals (breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) during the trek with hot tea/coffee in breakfast as per the itinerary.
  • All necessary mountain permits and national park entrance fees during the trek.
  • All accommodations in lodges/tea houses during the trek on twin sharing basis.
  • An experienced, helpful and friendly guide and porters (1 porter for each 2 trekkers and a porter will carry maximum of 20 KG).
