DAY 1

Arrival – Gangtok

Our representative will be there to receive the guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). He will assist the guest to proceed to Gangtok.

The name Gangtok means hill-top. Gangtok can be safely said to be one of the most beautiful hill stations in the country. With everything in just the right amount from a blend of cultural identities to urbanization, Gangtok is a breathing and dynamic bit of paradise of the northeast. It has an amazing view of Mount Khangchendzonga, the third highest mountain peak in the world. Also, like everything around it, Gangtok is abundant in natural beauty and has various natural attractions.

DAY 2

Gangtok Full Day Sightseeing

Full day sightseeing tour includes: 

1. Ganesh Tok: It's located at an altitude of 7,200 ft and on a road that branches off from the Gangtok-Nathula Highway. It's located at a distance of 11 km from Gangtok town. 

2. Ban Jhakri Waterfall: A great waterfall in a landscaped forest garden. The place is an excellent picnic spot for families. 

3. Enchey Monastery: An old renowned monastery founded in 1800s. 

4. Ganesh Tok: The Ganesh temple is about 6 km away from Gangtok, with a nice viewing area. 

5. Ropeway: Great 1 km cable car ride across three stations from Deorali to Tashiling 

6. Institute of Tibetology: Renowned institute on Tibetan Language & culture. It also has a great museum and library. 

7. Tashi View Point: Excellent sunrise and Khangchendzonga viewing area.

DAY 3

Gangtok  Lachung

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for Lachung, a tiny hamlet in North Sikkim  (126 KM / 6 hours). During your journey from Gangtok to Lachung, you will enjoy short breaks at Naga Waterfall, the confluence of Lachen Chu (river) & Lachung Chu (river) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall.

On arrival at Lachung, you will be transferred to a hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

DAY 4

Lachung  Yumthang Valley Excursion and Zero Point 

Post breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft), which is also known as the valley of flowers. On your way back to the hotel from Yumthang Valley, you will be visiting a hot spring, which is believed to have some medicinal properties.

Head back to the resort for lunch, check out, and head towards Gangtok. On the way if the weather is clear you may get to see the mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik viewpoint.

On arrival at Gangtok check into your hotel. The rest of the evening can be spent at leisure.

Note: Zero Point is an extra sightseeing point. Rs 3000 per vehicle has to be paid to the driver if you want to visit Zero Point.

DAY 5

Gangtok  Pelling (via Chardham)

Post breakfast, you will hop in a vehicle that will take you to Pelling  (126 km / 6 hours). On your way to Pelling, you will pass through some attractions of Namchi such as Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse and Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham).

In Siddheshwar Dham, you can see miniatures of the Indian Char Dhams located in India, namely, Jagannath Dham in East, Dwarka Dham in West, Badrinath Dham in North, and Rameshwaram in South. It also has a 108-foot statue of Lord Shiva enclosed by the 12 'lingas', a temple of Shirdi Sai Baba, and an effigy of Lord Kirateshwara.

After sightseeing, you will be transferred to Pelling for your night stay.

DAY 6

Pelling Sightseeing

Get your cameras ready as you will be going for a sightseeing tour to Sikkim today. In the first half of the day, you will be visiting Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake, and Khangchendzongha waterfalls.

For lunch, you will stop at a good restaurant. In the second half of the day, you will be visiting, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, and the new helipad ground.

After the sightseeing tour, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7

Pelling  Darjeeling

After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft; 120 km / 05 hours). On arrival check-in to your hotel, and the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.

DAY 8

Darjeeling City Tour

Early morning at 4:00 am visit Tiger Hill (sunrise point over Mt. Khangchendzonga). On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

After breakfast, you will go on a half-day city tour covering Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden (outer view), Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, and ropeway (ticket guest own). 

In the afternoon, head back to the hotel and enjoy shopping at the famous Mall Road.

Departure

Drive to Siliguri, on the way to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) (90 km, 2.5-3 hours)
