SCENIC BIKING TOUR BHUTAN
Go on an adventure of a lifetime through the Kingdom of Bhutan covering some of the best places to visit here. The tour will take you on a mountain bike ride for 8 days through western and central Bhutan. It definitely beats all the other tour packages in terms of truly experienceing the beauty of this wonderful country at a very initmate level.
Arrive at Paro by Drukair, which is the national carrier of Bhutan or Bhutan Airlines. This is where you'll be greeted at the airport by our representative and taken to your hotel for little rest. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy cycling in Paro Valley and on the road to Drugyel Dzong, an ancient fortress of Bhutan.
DAY 2
Paro-Haa
After breakfast, you will begin full day’s ride to Haa Valley which lies in western Bhutan. The road mostly ascents till Chele La Pass 3810 meters from where you can take well-deserved rest at the pass and enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayas. From here, you will ride downhill through the forests of blue pine, fir and oak till you arrive Haa, which has only recently been opened to tourists where you will stay overnight at heritage lodge in Haa.
DAY 3
Haa-Thimphu
Today, you will ride to Thimphu, capital city of Bhutan where you will pass through beautiful villages and pine forests. It is a pleasurable ride, with many optional stops along the road. After passing Dobji Dzong, the road descends and joins the main highway at Chhuzom. Enjoy riding on double lane road alongside Wangchu River. The impressive Thimphu gate welcomes you to downtown Thimphu where you will mingle with the locals of Bhutan and absorb their lifestyle.
DAY 4
Thimphu
Today you will explore few landmarks in the outskirt of the town via cycling, including Buddha Statue or Kuensel Prodrang which is a major tourist attraction of Bhutan, the Telecom Tower and Dodena.
DAY 5
Thimphu-Punakha
The road from Simtokha gradually ascends to the most well known pass in Bhutan, the Dochula Pass (3150m). On a clear day, you will have stunning views of the Himalayan Range. Take a little time at the Pass going around 108 chortens and enjoying scenery around. Ride downhill into Punakha valley through the forests of rhododendron, fir, hemlock and few settlements alongside the road.
DAY 6
Punakha-Paro
If you are not up to pedaling uphill on the same road, you can sit back in support vehicle till Dochula pass. From Dochula, you can ride downhill till Thimphu.
DAY 7
Day 7: Tiger’s Nest Monastery
You will conclude your stay in Bhutan by with a hike to the Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) monastery, the most famous pilgrim site, which clings to the rock at 3180m. According to the legend, it is believed that Guru Rimpoche, the 8th century Spiritual Master, flew to this location on the back of a tigress to meditate.
DAY 8
Departure
Drive to Paro airport for your departure from Bhutan. We hope you take back happy memories of Bhutan and await your return for another exciting trip with us.

Payment Terms
Initial Deposit: Any confirmation is subject to an advance deposit receipt of 50 % of the total tour cost.
Balance 50% amount has to be paid one day prior to tour start date.

Amendments
Amendment in services: Amendment is subject to availability of related hotels/services and can only be done before the reconfirmation (07 days prior to the date of arrival). Additional cost as applicable for services would be charged for.
Amendment in Date: Travel date can be rescheduled maximum of up to 30 days, from the initial date of arrival, and rates or price confirmed is subject to change as it’s based on the prevailing rates and might increase due to currency fluctuation increase in the cost of fuel charges, change in any related tax structure, sudden change in hotels tariff or increase in transport cost.
Any amendment in date of travel beyond 30 days will be considered as canceled and Amendments cannot be made within 7 days of the date of travel.
Amendment in number of Pax: In case of reduction in the number of passengers, the cost will be increased as per our tariff and the supplement for the same has to be added along with the final payment. In such cases, please note that the advance deposit for the passengers not traveling cannot be adjusted or redeemed.
Cancellation
30 days prior to the date of travel 10% of total service cost.
30 to 11 days before the date of travel 50% of the total service cost.
10 days to date of Arrival 100% of the total service cost.
Cancellation Refund will be processed within 15 days from the date of cancellation and will be refunded to you only by online mode. If the online mode does not work then the cancellation amount will be sent to you by A/c Payee at par cheque.
In case travel arrangements are booked through sub-agents or channel partners refunds would be paid to the sub-agent or channel partners through whom the guest has booked.
The above booking and cancellation policy is applicable in Sikkim
Child Policy
Children above 10 years will be charged 100% as per Adult Rate (EPSR).
Children of 5 to 10 sharing parent’s room will be charged as per Child with Bed or Child No Bed.
