This unique festival takes place in the month of August in a small village of Genekha in the Ura valley. Genekha is famous for producing Matsutake and Chanterelle mushrooms. Matsutake in local terms is known as ‘Sangay Shamu’. The festival not only brings local people together but most notably attracts an increasing number of tourists every year.
