Get to explore offbeat places in Bhutan by going on this 6-hour hike up and down beautiful mountain ridges of Bhutan. While hiking through places with beautiful dense forests, see Paro valley on the right and Haa valley of Bhutan on the left. Descend and visit the enchanting Kila Goenpa Nunnery where you can visit the temple and soak in the rich culture and heritage of Bhutan. This is one of the best hiking packages.
In the morning, you will be picked by our tour guide and escort you to Chelela Pass (3810m) the highest point of motorable road in the country of Bhutan. The walk begins among the thick fluttering prayer flags. To get blessed and gain merit, you can also fix your prayer flags if you have bought them from the town. As you continue the hike steadily along the ridge, you will be awestricken by the views of Paro valley on right and Haa valley on left, two beautiful valleys of Bhutan. The thick rhododendron bush and wild flowers adorn the mountain slope making your walk more rewarding. The highest ridge, Kungkarpo stands at about 4600 meters, the spot for sky burial. From here the trail descends abruptly through opened natural meadow and then enters thick wood of silver fir forest and broadleaved rhododendrons trees finally coming out above the Kila Goenpa Nunnery, an offbeat tourist attraction of Bhutan. Visit the temple, pray and interact with nuns before you drive back to hotel.
