BHUTAN AND SIKKIM TOUR
Experience two different geographies, cultures, and peoples with this holiday tour package. Sikkim’s prismatic beauty and local communities will surely enchant you, while Bhutan’s monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs), and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys offer a different experience.
After breakfast, you will travel to Thimphu after the permit is done. You will have lunch on the way. If you reach Thimphu early you can go for sightseeing.
Later in the evening, go to see Tashichho Dzong, a remarkable architectural structure that is currently the house of the throne room and seat of the government.
After an early breakfast, you will start your sightseeing tour beginning with Kuensel Phodrang, which features the world’s largest sitting Buddha statue, towering at 167 feet. The statue is situated on top of a hill overlooking the city of Thimphu from where you can enjoy a great view of Thimphu Valley on both sides.
Next, you will visit Folk Heritage Museum. The museum gives you a glimpse of the traditional Bhutanese lifestyle, in addition to artifacts from rural households; it also displays an impressive collection of typical household objects, tools, and equipment. You will next head to Motithang Takin Preserve. It is a small natural preserve for the Takin, Bhutan's national animal.
Finally, you will end your tour at Memorial Chorten. The chorten (stupa) is a chief landmark in the capital city and is also the most sacred place of worship for the local people.
At the conclusion of your sightseeing tour, you will head to Punakha, with a quick visit to Dochula Pass, which offers an amazing 360° panoramic view of the Himalayas on a clear day. Dochula Pass is also famous for the 108 memorial stupas known as “Druk Wangyal Chortens” located on the top of the pass.
After you reach Punakha you will be spending your night at the beautiful Damchen Resort from where you get a nice view of the town and river.
After having breakfast, we will take you to see Punakha Dzong.
This dzong is considered the most beautiful in the country, and the woodworks seen here are of the highest standards. The dzong has a Kuenray, chamber, where the kings of Bhutan are crowned.
Your next stop is at Tamchog Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to the 13th-century saint Thangthong Gyalpo, the bridge builder. To get to the temple, one must cross an iron chain bridge. Crossing this very old bridge with its swaying and undulating movements can be quite an experience.
After your sightseeing tour, you will head to Paro.
Today we will be driving you up to the base of Taktsang Monastery. You can buy a ticket if you wish to go inside the temple. The monastery itself is located in a dramatic setting, perched on a high cliff above Paro Valley.
After breakfast, you will head to Chele La Pass, which is a 1.5 drive from the valley floor in Paro. Apart from the beautiful view, the pass is also a hot spot for flora & fauna. You will then proceed toward Pheuntsholing
Today you will be heading back to Gangtok. After you reach Gangtok, you will check into your hotel and spend your evening at leisure. The hotel provides a beautiful view of the Himalayan ranges.
After breakfast, you will be travelling to the quaint, little town of Kalimpong and visiting some beautiful spots such as Deolo Hill, Mangal Dham, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills, and flower nurseries.
Kalimpong is a picturesque, sleepy town in West Bengal and is only a 3.5-hour drive from Sikkim.
Post your sightseeing tour, you will head back to Gangtok. You can spend your evening at leisure.
You will be spending your night in the beautiful Royal Oaks.
Depending on the best time to be at particular places (catching the sunrise or sunset, crowd, etc), you will be driven to various tourist spots accordingly.
Your day will include visiting the famous Banjhakri and Bakthang waterfalls. Both of these falls have their own unique, mesmerizing features. This is your chance to wear the traditional dress of Sikkim, provided at the stall there, and get your picture clicked.
You’ll also be visiting Do Drul Chorten (stupa) and Tashi Namgyal Institute
of Tibetology, two important religious places that are a must-visit. The Namgyal Institute of Tibetology holds one of the largest collections of Tibetan works in the world outside Tibet.
To get a thrilling view of Gangtok city and the surrounding mountains, you’ll be taken for a ride on the ropeway and also Tashi Viewpoint.
End your day snacking on some authentic food of Sikkimat the many local restaurants in MG Marg.
Brace yourself for spectacular views of the Himalayas today, as we drive you up to the picturesque mountain village of Lachen in North Sikkim. During the journey, you’ll make some memorable stops at Tashi Viewpoint, Seven Sisters Waterfall, and Bhim Nala Waterfall.
Once you’ve reached Lachen, you’ll check in to Mount View Residency Homestay (or someplace similar).
Spend the rest of the day exploring this scenic village, home to Lachenpas, a unique Sikkimese Bhutia community. If you’re in love with Tibetan architecture, prayer flags, and prayer wheels, then visit the Lachen Monastery/Gompa.
Get ready to ascend to an altitude of 17,800 feet today to view the riveting Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world! Make sure your camera batteries are charged because you’re definitely going to have a click spasm.
It’ll be hard to tear away from the beauty of the lake and the beautifully adorned yaks, but we’re going to drive you back to Lachen for some piping hot lunch. You’ll be surprised at how tasty the local cuisine is.
We know you’ll be itching to get back to the outdoor beauty of North Sikkim, so get doubled up to drive to the picturesque village of Lachung after lunch. You will make a descent to Chungthang and drive up via another route to an elevation of 8,600 feet.
At Lachung, you’ll check in to Potala Inn (or someplace similar). Take a good night’s rest because tomorrow we’re going to exhaust you with even more spectacular places.
After breakfast, you will explore the beautiful Yumthang Valley, also known as Sikkim's "valley of flowers." You can witness rolling green meadows, a meandering river, and grazing yaks. From here you will be driven to Zero Point.
Lunch is at Lachen before you head back to Gangtok.
Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass, and Baba Mandir
Today you will view the natural wonders of the Himalayas of East Sikkim.
The first stop is the oval-shaped Tsomgo Lake (3000 m), spanning 1 km long and 15 m deep. It is considered sacred by the local people. Walk around it or take the ropeway, the view from any angle is mesmerizing.
After you’ve had a fill of its beauty, you’ll be taken to Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army who died near Nathula Pass.
You will soon make your way back to Gangtok for the night.

Initial Deposit: Any confirmation is subject to an advance deposit receipt of 50 % of the total tour cost.
Balance 50% amount has to be paid one day prior to tour start date.

Amendments
Amendment in services: Amendment is subject to availability of related hotels/services and can only be done before the reconfirmation (07 days prior to the date of arrival). Additional cost as applicable for services would be charged for.
Amendment in Date: Travel date can be rescheduled maximum of up to 30 days, from the initial date of arrival, and rates or price confirmed is subject to change as it’s based on the prevailing rates and might increase due to currency fluctuation increase in the cost of fuel charges, change in any related tax structure, sudden change in hotels tariff or increase in transport cost.
Any amendment in date of travel beyond 30 days will be considered as canceled and Amendments cannot be made within 7 days of the date of travel.
Amendment in number of Pax: In case of reduction in the number of passengers, the cost will be increased as per our tariff and the supplement for the same has to be added along with the final payment. In such cases, please note that the advance deposit for the passengers not traveling cannot be adjusted or redeemed.
Cancellation
30 days prior to the date of travel 10% of total service cost.

10 days to date of Arrival 100% of the total service cost.
Cancellation Refund will be processed within 15 days from the date of cancellation and will be refunded to you only by online mode. If the online mode does not work then the cancellation amount will be sent to you by A/c Payee at par cheque.
In case travel arrangements are booked through sub-agents or channel partners refunds would be paid to the sub-agent or channel partners through whom the guest has booked.

Child Policy
Children above 10 years will be charged 100% as per Adult Rate (EPSR).
Children of 5 to 10 sharing parent’s room will be charged as per Child with Bed or Child No Bed.
