DAY 1
Arrival Dibrugarh

  • Arrive  Dibrugarh arriving early afternoon. 
  • Meet & Greet upon arrival and transferred to your hotel, afternoon and evening free.
  • Overnight: Dibrugarh.
DAY 2
Dibrugarh Sightseeing

  • Tour of the tea plantations and factory with opportunities to explore the region’s lush tea estates, rice plantations and mountain ranges. 
  • In the afternoon we visit the Namphake tribal village, with its Thai influence the village is also home to the Namphake Buddhist Monastery.
  • Overnight: Dibrugarh.
DAY 3
Dibrugarh Sightseeing

  • Excursion to the historic WWII famed Stilwell Road (Ledo-Burma Road) Along the way stop at the Commonwealth War Graves of Digboi, the Oil Museum, Ledo airstrip and, Tipong colliery finishing at Stilwell Heritage Park.
  • Overnight: Dibrugarh.
DAY 4
Dibrugarh - Jorhat

  • Driving towards Jorhart city approximately 4 hours. 
  • Afternoon visit Jorhat Gymkhana Club - Jorhat Gymkhana Club, the oldest golf course in Asia and the third oldest in the world was established by British. The club has been a venue for horse races ever since its inauguration.
  • Overnight: Jorhat.
DAY 5
Jorhat Sightseeing

  • Visit the Tocklai Tea Research Institute which is one of its kind institute in the world dedicated to research related to tea.
  • Visit Hoorachari Tea Estate to get insights of tea processing and sampling some of the best Assam Tea.
  • Afternoon visit the Jorhat Golf Retreat or take a trip to Hoolock Gobbon Sanctuary
  • Overnight: Jorhat.
DAY 6
Jorhat - Sibsagar -Jorhat

  • Visit to one of the local silk farms and silk weavers' villages.
  • Afternoon visit Shivsagar, once the capital of Ahom Dynasty which ruled Assam for over 600 years until the arrival of the British. The city has several ancient monuments, temples and palaces.
  • Overnight: Jorhat.
DAY 7
Majuli Island Sightseeing

  • Excursion to Majuli Island, India's largest river island Shortlisted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site the Majuli Island is only accessible by ferry. On the island visit the Vaishnovite monasteries, locally known as Satras and dating back to the 16th Century. Also visit the agrarian Mishing tribal villages situated on the river banks along with a local vegetarian lunch.
  • Overnight stay at Jorhat.
DAY 8
Departure 

  • Drive to Dibrugarh for your onward journey.
