Arrival - Halflong

  • Arrive Silchar and transfer to Halflong. Evening at Leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

Maibong Sightseeing

  • Excursion to Maibong the erstwhile capital of Dimacha kingdom - visit ‘Stone House’,  historic tanks and beautiful temples. 
  • Exquisite waterfalls en route.
  • Visit the two storied, colossal temple, Ramchandi, which has inscriptions that date back to the 1750s.
  • Return back to Halflong.
  • Overnight at Hotel.
Halflong - Jatinga

  • Post Breakfast visit the Halflong museum, Botanical Garden, and the lake.
  • Post lunch drive back to Silchar en route stop at Jatinga famous for the birds of varied species committing suicide.
  • Overnight at hotel.
Silchar

  • Khaspur, ruins of ancient Assam and is a beautiful place to visit as well. Maniharan Tunnel on Bhuvan Hill with Triveni River underneath, Kancha Kanti Devi Temple, Rani Digi Park.
  • Afternoon at leisure to visit the market. Alternatively visit Srikona waterfalls and park.
  • Overnight at Silchar.
Silchar Sightseeing

  • Excursion to Badarpur fort a Mughal era fort on the banks of the river Barak, Sutarkandi- Indo-Bangladesh Border, where you can see BSF and Bangladesh guards quite similar to Wagha Border between India and Pakistan. Maleghar Tilla War Memorial dedicated to martyrs’ od Sepoy Mutiny of 1857.
  • Post Lunch visit the Son Beel, the second largest seasonal wetland in Asia.
  • Return to Silchar.
  • Overnight at Silchar
Departure

  • Drive to Airport/ Railway Station for onward journey.
